Hunt premium Nebraska river bottom bucks for bow hunters only. No rifle hunter has been on this property for at least three years. The area has a large concentration of big whitetails.

It is a semi-guided hunt. The outfitter will show you the ranch, and recommend one of 12 premium stands for each of your group (up to four archers per party). You can bring a ground blind if you wish. There is one mile of Platte River bottom land and 600 acres with alfalfa and corn fields available to hunt.

Historically 140 to 160-class whitetail bucks are what you will hunt.
We offer BOW ONLY hunts for great Whitetail Trophy Bucks in the range of 140 to 160. The whitetail hunts take place on the south channel of the Platte River in Maxwell, Nebraska. This river bottom ground has very thick cover with water running through its entire length and food plots placed throughout for great hunting success.

Outfitter will begin with information surrounding local perspective, scouting, and land boundaries and show the areas that scouting has showed the biggest bucks are currently using. Prior to your arrival tree stands will be erected in the most high-traffic areas; extensive preparation is done to give you the best possible opportunity at harvesting a buck.  This allows some time for the stand to be accepted even by the most leery bucks.

This area is managed for opportunities at big deer. We do not allow any rifle hunts as those 9 days fall during the peak of the rut; this gives the bucks more of an opportunity to grow up and grow horns. Properties around us are constantly pushing new deer into our area which has minimal people, maximum feed and cover with no gunshots.

The Outfitters properties and the surrounding areas have not been over hunted for years, which results in a lot of mature deer to hunt now and in the future and provides the Outfitters with high success rates. This thick river bottom is surrounded by corn, alfalfa, and soybeans.

This is truly a whitetail paradise where you never know when that buck of a lifetime with that large rack will step out and make your day. Many of the locals say these are the best hunting spots in Lincoln County. They have multiple stand sites to choose from each day because they only take 2 hunters at one time. They also like to give the properties a rest between hunts so the deer don't get over pressured. Openings are limited so book now to reserve your spot.

The hunt dates: Pre Rut September 15th-Oct. 24th is only $1200, October 24th-November 13th is only $1500. 

We also offer a 3 day unguided doe only hunt for $500 as scheduling allows. 
 
Don't forget we have some awesome turkey hunts too! Turkey hunting is also available in the spring and fall and has enjoyed a 99.9% success rate with 100% opportunity. The turkey hunt is a 2 day hunt; two days of semi-guided turkey hunting for only $800.



The land is posted and monitored to prevent outside hunters. None of the owner’s family or friends hunts the ranch - just groups of four or fewer hunters. Retrieving game is the archer’s responsibility by truck. Walking the property is discouraged, and the best way to succeed is to stay in a stand and hunt. There are many big bucks here, but there are no dumb bucks.

Lodging is available in North Platte and the outfitter has discounted rates for his clients. You will have this information after booking.

Booking requires a 50% deposit to book the hunt and the balance is due 30 days prior to the hunt.
